This February, the original Bunga Bunga will be unveiling a new look to its restaurant and club, and unleashing a brand-new line-up of unique karaoke-centric nights, to revive this tongue-in-cheek Italian back to its best and start the new decade with a bang!
In 2011 the Bunga Bunga concept was born: an Englishman’s Italian where you could eat, drink and be entertained all under one roof from the early evening until the early morning. Combining clichés of Italian holidays with a lethal dose of British humour, Bunga Bunga emerged as a glorious tongue-in-cheek homage to the land of pizza, and sparked Londoner’s love affair with karaoke. The fun and flamboyant Italian has built-up a reputation over the past decade as a buzzing late-night party destination, and one of the Capital’s original and best-loved boozy brunch spots.
As we enter a new decade, prepare for the dawn of the new era of Bunga as the original Battersea restaurant and club undergoes a dazzling revamp of its interiors and entertainment, to reaffirm its reputation as the liveliest Italian in the land.
Staying true to our karaoke roots, this has inspired our line-up of new nights launching next month, including a show inspired by a legendary talent series, a musical bingo experience, and crowd-pleasing singalong night to kick-start the weekend…
“Tonight Bunga, I’m going to be…”
Leading the line-up of new nights will be Thursday’s homage to the nation’s favourite ‘90s talent series ‘Stars in Their Eyes’. Every Thursday we will be offering guests a once in a lifetime opportunity to live out their dreams of performing as their musical muse on the Bunga stage.
Contestants will be spoilt for choice with 20 well-renowned superstars from across the ages to choose from. Once selected, they will get to utter that legendary line “Tonight Bunga, I’m going to be…” before being whisked backstage for an extremely high-quality, thorough and convincing makeover. Then, each will emerge through the signature smoke cloud onto stage, looking (and hopefully sounding) like their pop idol.
Share the spotlight with pals or perform solo, whichever will give you the best chance of being crowned the night’s star performance as voted for by the audience after the final curtain call, and win far more than just bragging rights.

When karaoke, bingo and Bunga collide…!
Following the boom of Bunga Bunga Battersea’s bingo nights last year, we’re ramping it up a gear and fusing it with what we do best: infamous karaoke parties, to create Bunga’s Singo Bingo every Wednesday evening. Hosted by the loose-lipped Mamma Bunga, expect an eccentric night of singing, dancing, pizza and plenty of confetti, with the chance to win some fabulous prizes, from Bunga hats to a ball pit table and even a Fiat 500 – there’s all to play for.
After a couple of rounds of straight forward Bunga Bingo, Singo Bingo will commence, where Mamma Bunga will pick the first ball to determine which lucky table gets to take to the stage. Then, the selected squad will spin the cage for the next bingo ball, which will pick the song they perform. Together, or as a group… you decide.

Leave your artistic differences at the door
Staying true to our karaoke roots, every Friday we will be throwing the biggest, boldest singalongs to get the weekend off to a soaring start. Nothing bonds strangers faster than uniting in the ultimate karaoke session, hosted by our fabulous resident singer, who will vocally choreograph group-wide renditions of 1000s of smash hits. 
Whether you have a voice of an angel, or haven’t held a tune since leaving the womb, whatever the mix of abilities and artistic differences aside, we will endeavour to make sweet music together. While you dine on delizioso metro pizzas and enjoy a fabulous selection of cocktails, microphones will be dotted around the room, to equip guests for their transformation from diners to divas as the singalong commences. After belting out multiple bangers, make your way upstairs to continue the party in our new and improved Club Bunga.
