After Work Drinks Designed to Unleash your Inner Child

‘After Work Drinks’ are a great concept, but can often involve piling into already overcrowded bars and pubs and shouting to the bartenders to get your order heard, which then makes the after work drinks situation less fun – until now.
We have curated a list of locations ideal for the city-slickers who want to let their hair down at the end of a busy day – and let their inner child run wild!

Junkyard Golf Club

Located in the heart of Shoreditch, grab your work mates and head to this underground warehouse haven, filled with 4 different themed crazy golf course all made out of reclaimed ‘junk’. Designed to unleash your inner child, there is a bar including slushie cocktails topped with sweets, as well as a hot dog cart, pic n’ mix and a popcorn machine – After work drinks have never been so competitive.

It gets busy at peak times (Friday nights and weekends) so be sure to book in advance so you have no problem getting onto your chosen course.

BallieBallerson

The ‘adult playpen’ is spread over two floors and contains 250k clear ball pit balls upon an LED dance floor. The bar features glow in the dark murals and a cocktail menu that takes inspiration from the planets – for example, Neptune is based on charcoal and liquid nitrogen.

Visit the Box Park Location and get in for free if you live within the M25.

Crystal Maze

For a blast from the past, get into a team of eight with your colleagues and head down to The Crystal Maze in Islington. True to the show, you will travel through four different zones, taking part in individual games and challenges as you go. When you have completed all four zones you will then move onto the famous final round where you have to catch as many gold tickets as you can. Of course, this is a competition – with 4 teams taking part in each session, so if you have a lot of colleagues book all four teams up to take part in some friendly workplace competition – ie let your boss win if you still want a job on Monday!

Bounce

Food, Cocktails & Ping Pong – is there a better combination?

Head down to one of the two London locations after work for dinner and drinks, whilst spectating and taking part in the fast-paced game that everyone can enjoy. Visit the Farringdon location and you will be playing Table Tennis where the game was allegedly first created!

The website also features some handy tips and tricks to help you play better – so swot up and get ready to hustle your colleagues!
