Sybarite Selections: Best Natural Skincare Brands

As we become more aware of what we put into our bodies food-wise, we are also becoming increasingly conscious of what goes on our skin. With many leading brands still using parabens and chemicals in their products, consumers are turning to brands that use organic and natural elements instead. Luckily, some of the best and most premium products on the market are packed full of scientifically nourishing, cruelty-free, ethical ingredients. We’ve picked our favourites…

Verbaluce Lighten and Brighten Face Cream

This well-loved Italian brand champions sustainability as well as efficacy. This targeted treatment aims to even skin tone, enhance radiance, minimise dark spots and discoloration and leave skin toned and compact. The formula draws on mullein and primula flowers as well as Primrose Oil, citrus fruits, Indian Mulberry and other antioxidant ingredients to leave skin looking fresh and tightened. £56 for 50 ml from L’Erbolario.

Oilixia Cacay Facial Oil

Full of natural wonders such as the retinol rich Cacay Oil – which has 50% more vitamin E than Argan Oil –  this facial oil has a light, silky texture and creates a natural glow. Great for dry skin, it contains antioxidant Acai oil and Amazonian Lily extract. Plus, this product promises to do more than just benefit your skin; it’s production helps to support local families and reforestation programmes in Columbia. £48 from Oilixia.

Tata Harper Boosted Contouring Serum

This cult product hails from Vermont, USA, and will firm, tighten and replenish dull, ageing skin. It contains Brown Algae Extract, Menyanthes Trifoliata, Spanish Lavender, and Date Palm Extract, amongst others. If you need a natural product that will have instant, visible results on reducing wrinkles, look no further. £175 for 30ml from Cult Beauty.

Tammy Fender Epi-Peel

Want a chemical peel but without the recovery time? Tammy Fender’s Epi-Peel is a scrub, mask and peel all in one. Using Hibiscus Extract and Grape Seed Oil, it gently removes dead surface cells whilst simultaneously minimising pores and blemishes. To get optimum results, use twice a week, leaving the formula on for five minutes at a time. £61 from Cult Beauty.

Neom Organics Real Luxury Organic Body Scrub
Neom’s organic sugar-based scrub contains essential oils such as lavender and jasmine, with safflower, jojoba and Vitamin E to softly remove dead skin cells, giving you smooth, hydrated skin.
