Savoy’s American Bar named as best bar in the world

The ninth annual World’s 50 Best Bar awards took place in London recently, with a triumph for last years runners-up The American Bar in The Savoy. The ranking is selected by over 500 industry experts worldwide.

Dalloway Terrace launches a collaboration with Mira Manek

A Sybarite favourite Dalloway Terrace is hosting a one-off Vegetarian Supper Club this week with chef Mira Manek. The evening is designed to celebrate both Diwali and the 70th anniversary of Indian independence. The event will take place on Thursday 19th October and will feature the ‘Diwali on Dalloway’ menu, created by Mira exclusively for this one-off event. The menu features tantalizing choices, including Rosemary Masala Sweet Potatoes and a Saffron Lime Cheesecake with Honey Compote.

Tate St Ives

After spending four years being renovated and revamped, Tate St Ives has finally reopened its doors with now almost double the exhibition space which will enable the gallery to host a quarter of a million visitors a year, as well as boosting the local economy by £11million a year.

BFI Film Festival

The British Film Institute celebrates another year of the annual BFI Film Festival in London, with events across the capital running up until the 14th October.The festival brought with it exclusive talks from directors and screenwriters as well as actors such as Jake Gyllenhaal and Cate Blanchett.
