The perfect way to spend a Saturday or Sunday with friends, London has really boosted its bottomless brunch game over the last year. From bubbles to Bloody Mary’s and with extensive menu offerings to suit every palate, we’ve rounded up five of the capital’s finest brunch offerings.
Timmy Green, Victoria
Inject a dose of Bondi sunshine into your brunch with the acclaimed Aussie restaurant chain, The Daisy Green Collection’s latest launch. The Timmy Green, ideally located in Victoria’s upscale Nova Food development, offers a refreshing, unique take on the bottomless brunch tradition. Guests firstly can select one cold item from the Something Light menu – either homemade maple granola or the delicious, ‘award winning’ banana bread sandwich. The real treat comes from the Set For The Day menu, where favourite brunch classics are given an Australian twist, such as their ‘Avocado on Charcoal’ which consists of organic cold fermented activated charcoal sourdough, avocado, labne, lime & lemon dukkah or the ‘Hot and Healthy Breakfast Greens’ made up of seasonal greens, poached free range egg, halloumi soldiers, flaked almonds, balsamic dust all of which can wash it all down with a choice of prosecco or mimosas. The best thing about this brunch (aside from the food)? On weekends, the menu’s available all day, so it’s the perfect spot for a leisurely Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
Jar Kitchen, Covent Garden
Inventive and adorable, this independent Covent Garden kitchen prides itself on its seasonal, locally-produced menu, which gives you a choice of wholesome dishes made from the freshest ingredients. Our favourite picks include the wild mushrooms, rocket and walnut flatbread and the infamous smashed avocado, poached eggs and chili on sourdough. What’s more, you can have two courses for £32, so if you fancy a treat make sure you save room for the mini doughnuts on the desert menu. Whilst you divulge in this deliciously tasty brunch, Jar Kitchen’s friendly and attentive staff will keep your glass topped up with Bloody Mary’s, mimosas or prosecco.
Gaucho, Chelsea
It’s not just the drinks that bring the bottomless to Gaucho’s Electro Brunch; it’s the food too. With unlimited plates of mouthwatering goodies included in the price, such as French toast featuring Gaucho’s signature whipped dulce de leche peanut butter and beans on toast with Spanish chorizo, a Saturday brunch booking at Gaucho takes ‘treat day’ to a whole new level. You can keep your glass topped up with a choice of Bloody Mary’s, sparkling wine, Aperol Spritz, lager and fresh juices. This fun and vibrant Argentine-inspired brunch has something for everyone.
ROKA, Canary Wharf
Starting with an array of traditional Japanese dishes from sashimi to dumplings, ROKA’s extensive bottomless brunch menu is all about indulgence. Featuring freshly cooked dishes from their robata grills, such as baby back ribs glazed with master stock and cashews and tiger prawn and vegetable tempura, you’ll be served a choice of Bellini or Bloody Mary on arrival. Injecting some extra class into their bottomless brunch, ROKA serves paired wines throughout the brunch to complement and enhance the food. To top it all off, the whole meal is finished with ROKA’s famous dessert platter – if you can manage it!
Bunga Bunga, Battersea
Going bottomless at Battersea’s Bunga Bunga is less Saturday morning excursion and more beginning of Saturday night. Their offering includes a three-course Italian brunch menu which dishes up antipasti platters and brunch-themed pizzas (you can get hollandaise, spinach, smoked salmon and egg as a pizza topping). Served alongside unlimited DIY bellinis and entertainment such as karaoke and spontaneous opera singers, you can end your brunch with homemade gelato and get your Saturday night started properly.
