Now the Christmas season is officially underway, we have curated a list of the best Christmas Markets in the Country.
All of our choices have a few things in common, great food and drink and stunning locations. Because really, why go to one of the many Christmas markets if the food isn’t sensational and the scenery not instagrammable?
Wintertime at Southbank
London is inundated with Christmas markets, and so many more appear every year! Whether you want the busy tourist trap of Winter Wonderland or the Instagram worthy Kew Gardens celebrations, there is something for everyone.
However, our favourite has to be Wintertime at Southbank for many reasons.
It’s located just outside of Waterloo station on London’s Southbank so it’s central enough to get to and from, making it perfect for a quick visit after work.
Here you can enjoy all of the traditional Christmas market delights, but with a backdrop of the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and the stunning London skyline.
Bath
Located down in the stunning South East of England, Bath’s Christmas markets are famous for featuring everything you could ever need and more! From cheese to dog treats and marshmallows to pottery, there really is everything!
With street performances of A Christmas Carol and choirs filling the historic town with festive cheer, Bath Christmas market is not one to miss.
Edinburgh
Christmas. Tree. Maze. Need I say more?
Visit Edinburgh this December for a magical Christmas experience. There are plenty of rides and attractions to keep little ones entertained, including ice skating and mini child-friendly roller coasters.
Think giant advent calendars, steaming cups of mulled wine, firework shows, amazing street food and silent discos for kids and you’ll be on the right track with the Edinburgh Christmas Markets
