If you happened to be at 100 Wardour Street -in the heart of Soho- on Monday night for the Izabela Calik evening show during London Fashion Week, you would have found yourself in a room packed of people all waiting to savour the latest creations from six designers. Cocktails were flowing from the bar, camera shutters going off and an anticipating, well-heeled crowd were watching as blondes were strutting around the venue in evening gowns as a warm up for the show.
The Izabela Calik runway saw selected international designers and their collections encompassing couture dresses, smart casual, jewellery, accessorize & shoes. It opened with couture dresses in blue and red, gold, black, light blue and white lace by Wearable Art Collective, accompanied by violin music. Dresses by Biblos Glasgow followed, and then The Red Casket. The evening ended with the sound of applause for Natalia Zabova’s and jewellery designer Ari Benz’s much appreciated dress designs and jewellery, respectively. Head makeup artist was Marta Wozniak.
