Fabulous Destinations To Watch New Years Eve Fireworks

New Year’s Eve is one of the most exciting nights of the year. Make sure you spend it in style at one of these fabulous locations for a night you’ll never forget…

London
If you have a head for heights, the open-air rooftop bar at The Trafalgar Hotel, which is not far from the National Gallery and overlooks the busy Square, has spectacular views of London and the South Bank. Normally closed for the winter, the hotel is graciously opening the bar for this special occasion. After watching the dazzling display, you can continue dancing the rest of the night away at the NYE party in the hotel’s Rockwell Bar, guest DJ from 9PM to 3AM.

New York
There are few better ways to enjoy New York than from above, cocktail in hand, gazing across the lights and landmarks that define the city. One such landmark is the historic Knickerbocker Hotel, one-time haunt of American elite like F. Scott Fitzgerald and John D. Rockefeller, which serves as base of St.Cloud; a 7,800-square-foot rooftop bar and terrace. Named after the late-19th-century hotel that originally occupied the Knickerbocker space, the outdoor space is outfitted with plush “sky pods”, metallic-finished wood floors and a cigar lounge from celebrated tobacconist Nat Sherman.

Dubai
New Year’s Eve is a big deal in Dubai, so much so, last year’s event at the Burj Khalifa broke the record with more than 25,000 fireworks weighing 4.7 tonnes shooting skyward during the show that took a team of about 200 more than 192,000 hours to prepare. With its sweeping views of the Burj Al Arab, guests can watch the fireworks display at midnight from the outdoor rooftop venue. Packages include a five-course dinner with house beverages and bubbly on arrival for Dhs1,950.

Sydney
Barangaroo Reserve offers a spectacular view of the Harbour Bridge and an amazing vantage point for the New Year’s Eve fireworks. But more importantly, it’s one of the most affordable ways to spend NYE in Sydney. There’ll be food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available to purchase on site, picnic hampers available for pre-order and entertainment to carry you through till midnight.
