Newly reopened Lanesborough Hotel is a must for true London luxury living

The newly reopened Lanesborough Hotel has been well worth the wait. With its spectacular Georgian-inspired rooms and suites, this is one hotel in London that defines luxury living; and this is especially evident in The Royal Suite.

The Royal Suite is a gem in itself: With seven bedrooms, hotel management describes it as ‘one of the world’s most admired residences, and a London residence fit for a king, queen or head of state’. We can see why. Just by looking at it, one gains a sense of Regency grandeur and Georgian influences. Designed by Alberto Pinto, The Lanesborough houses 93 rooms in total, with The Royal Suite spanning 4,800 square feet and containing two impeccably crafted living rooms and a dining room.

Guests experience a ‘grande entrée’, as they come through ornate double-doors and a spacious entrance hall which leads to the dining area. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a view of Wellington Arch and Buckingham Palace Gardens. Of course, a 24-hour butler is there to attend to guests’ needs and, should guests book the suite in its entirety, a complimentary Rolls Royce Phantom and driver are available to chauffeur them around.

Further bonuses of The Royal Suite include totally modern in-room amenities, such as tablet- controlled temperature, a high-tech entertainment system and pretty much everything you’d expect of a modern-day luxury hotel. Should guests not wish to use all seven bedrooms, The Royal Suite allows partial suite bookings.
