Aston Martin, the iconic British car manufacturer and arguably one of the world’s most recognisable luxury marques, is turning its hand to a build of a much larger scale with a residential development on Biscayne Boulevard, Miami.
Partnering with G&G Business Developments – the real estate arm of the Coto family, BMA Architects and Revuelta Architecture International – the prestigious address is taking shape on one of the last available plots of Miami waterfront and is due for completion in 2021. The architectural design pays homage to the instantly identifiable and sleek lines of the Aston Martin motorcars and takes further inspiration from Miami’s coastal connection, replicating the smooth curves of the waves.
“In this, our first residential development, the interiors are inspired by Aston Martin, but take into consideration Miami’s tropical environment. We are incorporating Aston Martin’s DNA through subtle details and fine craftsmanship, with an emphasis on comfort. This building is for people who appreciate the finest quality and craftsmanship, who love the feeling of something that is timeless.” says Marek Reichman, Aston Martin EVP and Chief Creative Officer. Over its 66 floors, the curvilinear glass and steel building contains 391 properties. The ‘River Residences’ are on levels three to 14, the ‘Panoramic Residences’ on levels 15 to 45, the ‘Sky Residences’ are found at levels 46 to 51 and the jewels in this skyscraper’s crown, the Penthouses are found on levels 56 to 62, each offering over 8,950sq.ft of luxurious living space. A Triplex Penthouse spans the building’s final three storeys, covering an incredible 18,811sq.ft.
Prices for a one-bedroom River Residence start at $600,000 and the Triplex Penthouse, with its six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, private gym, terrace and pool, has a listing price upwards of $50million – although on collecting the keys the purchaser will also take delivery of one of the most sought-after automobiles on the planet: the Aston Martin Vulcan, worth $2.3million alone.
At the core of the brand’s values lies ‘the art of living’; a carefully curated world of experiences, travel, cuisine, sport, fashion and culture. This notion is evident in the residences in everything from the floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, in the selection of premium materials and finishes used throughout, and the wide array of entertainment and lifestyle features. Due to the property’s prime location, residents will also benefit from a rooftop helipad and exclusive access to marina space behind the building, able to berth yachts of superyacht length.
Floors 52 through 55 house the tower’s 42,275sq.ft of lifestyle amenities, including an outside infinity pool surrounded by a decked ‘beach club’, a sky bar lounge, state-of-the-art catering kitchen, private dining room, two movie theatres, an art gallery, children’s playroom, conference room and business centre, a beauty salon and spa with sauna and treatment rooms, as well as a two-storey fitness centre complete with virtual golf and boxing gym. The designs have been hailed as the perfect combination of business and pleasure and in the ultimate expression of the bespoke, cosmopolitan lifestyle that these residences represent, Aston Martin will also launch a limited edition Miami Riverwalk DB11. Available to a select few residents, the cars will feature exquisitely crafted custom interiors and partner the properties as the most unique of accessories.
