One Warwick Park – The new luxury hotel in the Garden of England
On the cobbled streets of Tunbridge Wells sits a sparkling new addition to Kent’s luxury hotel scene. The intimate 39-room townhouse hotel opened at the start of July and features a 40sm underground art gallery, with a changing exhibition every season. Currently, contemporary British artist Melanie Berman’s abstract ‘Land Marks’ collection adorns the walls. The restaurant and bar serves Mediterranean small plates and an elegant cocktail menu. One Warwick Park will no doubt become the new hip rendezvous for stylish locals in no time.
First Michelin star for Ritz-Carlton Singapore’s restaurant
The hotel’s restaurant, Summer Pavilion, has become the only Chinese restaurant in Singapore to receive this accolade. Chef Cheung Siu Kong has been with the restaurant since 2003, and ever since being appointed Chinese executive Chef in 2014, he has gone on a drive towards culinary perfection that has propelled the establishment to Michelin heights.
In celebration of the renowned accolade, Summer Pavilion is launching special menus which feature some of Cheung’s signature dishes. These include barbecued Iberico pork with honey sauce and chicken served in a whole coconut. Delicious.
